From 9 to 13 February 2026, the innovation mission South Korea: semiconductor technology takes place, organized by RVO and the Dutch embassy in Seoul.
The mission focuses on strengthening cooperation between the Netherlands and South Korea within the semiconductor sector.
ChipTech Twente (CTT) takes on the role of mission leader during this mission, with Mark Luke Farrugia as the representative. Under his leadership, new opportunities are explored for collaboration between Dutch and South Korean companies, knowledge institutions, and policymakers.
The mission offers participants the opportunity to:
get to know the South Korean semiconductor ecosystem,
participate in company and university visits,
participate in SEMICON Korea, matchmaking, and networking events.
South Korea is a global leader in memory chip production and will invest over $422 billion in its semiconductor industry in the coming years – focusing on chip design, integration, packaging, and AI applications in areas such as mobility and defense.
Entrepreneurs, researchers, and professionals in the semiconductor chain can participate to initiate or strengthen collaborations. The participation fee is € 250 excl. VAT per person (travel and accommodation not included).
The mission represents a valuable moment to deepen international cooperation and strengthen the ties between the Netherlands and South Korea in a rapidly growing global industry.
