ChipNL CC strengthens this chain by acting as an independent hub, removing barriers, and bringing parties together.
Whether it's finding a specific research partner in Twente, joining an innovation cluster in Brabant, or utilizing shared facilities in Delft; we ensure that the connection is made. A well-connected ecosystem not only promotes individual growth but also enhances the strategic autonomy of the entire Dutch and European sector.

The semiconductor industry is inherently international. Value chains, technology development, and markets do not adhere to national borders. At the same time, the international playing field is complex and widely spread across multiple regions, especially for smaller and growing companies.

Focus on Europe
The core of our internationalization activities is within Europe. The ChipNL CC is active within the European network of Chips Competence Centres and contributes to cooperation, knowledge exchange, and joint visibility.
Due to this European integration, Dutch companies can more easily:
connect with relevant ecosystems,
collaborate with international partners,
and strengthen their position within the European semiconductor value chain.
Outside Europe
Opportunities for Dutch semiconductor companies are also emerging outside Europe. ChipNL CC does not organize or finance international trade activities outside the EU, but it supports companies by:
providing information and context,
referring to existing national and regional initiatives,
and encouraging cooperation with parties active in international missions and programs.
Our role is focused on lowering barriers and providing overview, not on execution.
