European Commission opens public consultation for Chips Act 2

The European Commission is preparing a follow-up to the current EU Chips Act and invites companies, knowledge institutions, and industry organizations to share their vision.
Until November 28, 2025, stakeholders can provide input via a Call for Evidence and a public consultation

The new Chips Act 2 builds on the current European policy to further strengthen innovation, production capacity, and resilience within the semiconductor sector.
The public consultation offers organizations the opportunity to share their insights on themes such as strategic autonomy, investment conditions, innovation policy, and access to talent.

The feedback will be used by the European Commission to shape future policies that better meet the needs of the European industry and knowledge partners.
