HTM call openstelling voor aanmeldingen

The HTSM Call 'Heterogeneous development solutions for semiconductors and scaling of quantum technologies' (HTSM) is now open for applications. NWO and Holland High Tech invite researchers to form consortia to jointly submit research proposals related to the topics of quantum technologies and/or semiconductor technologies.

Quantum and semiconductor technologies are essential key technologies within the National Technology Strategy of the Dutch government. To stimulate fundamental and applied research into these technologies, NWO and Holland High Tech have set up this Call for proposals. Specifically, the call asks for research into heterogeneous development solutions around chiplets, advanced packaging, and associated metrology and/or knowledge development in the field of new, robust production processes, manufacturability, and scalability of quantum technologies.

Budget and co-funding

NWO and Holland High Tech jointly provide € 11.85 million for research proposals within this call for proposals. Half of this is reserved for proposals around the theme of semiconductors, and the other half for quantum-related proposals.

It is mandatory for two or more co-funders to participate in the project. The co-funders must jointly contribute at least 20% of the total budget for the application. This can be in cash or in kind.

Matchmaking

On March 2, 2026, NWO and Holland High Tech are organizing a matchmaking meeting for this call.
