RVO opent Interessepeiling voor IPCEI AST in Nederland

The Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) has opened a new expression of interest for the Important Project of Common European Interest on Advanced Semiconductor Technologies (IPCEI AST).

Dutch organizations can indicate whether they want to participate in this European cooperation programme.

RVO has published a survey to determine which Dutch companies, knowledge institutions and other organisations may wish to participate in the IPCEI Advanced Semiconductor Technologies (AST) programme.
The purpose of this exploration is to gain insight into potential projects within the Netherlands that fit within Europe’s ambitions for strategic semiconductor technologies.

What is IPCEI AST?

IPCEI AST focuses on developing and strengthening critical semiconductor technologies within Europe. The programme supports projects that contribute to strategic autonomy, innovation capacity and a resilient European value chain.

The survey is a first step towards possible project selection. Completing it does not oblige organisations to participate, but provides RVO with information to shape the national process.

Why is this relevant for organisations in the Netherlands?

The survey gives organisations the opportunity to join early a European framework that stimulates innovation, collaboration and upscaling. For companies and research institutions active in chip development, manufacturing, design or supply chains this can provide valuable new opportunities.

Information and participation

Organisations wishing to express interest can fill in the form via RVO’s official website. It also provides additional explanation about objectives, criteria and the use of the data.
